We’re headquartered in downtown Fenton, Michigan and serve clients all over the state.

At CC Rehab our mission is to serve individuals who have experienced a life altering event by providing exemplary client care and innovative rehabilitation strategies to help achieve the highest quality of life, dignity, and independence.

We serve adults and children of all ages, and with a multitude of diagnoses, with varying severities and acuity levels. We provide home and community based nursing, home health aide, physical therapy, and occupational therapy, speech-language, and massage therapy services. We also provide in-home nursing services that include nursing wound care visits, medication set up, and nursing consultation. Additional rehabilitative services may include: home modification assessments, vocational/worksite evaluations, vehicle, durable home assessments, and consultation. All services provided are prescribed by the individuals’ treating physician, and are based on medical need, treatment team recommendations, and client and family goals.

Char Combs

Founder & Executive Director

Char has over 26 years of experience working with individuals who have been catastrophically injured. She has been an industry leader in the delivery of home and community-based care and rehabilitation. Char has pioneered rehabilitation programs for adults and children, and has spent her career dedicated to helping individuals maximize independence while making the most of available resources. Char Combs graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1993.

As the Founder and Executive Director of CC Rehab, Char will often be found traveling state-wide to support clients and staff in whatever they need for a successful recovery. Char is involved in many community and industry organizations providing her leadership and expertise to support individuals and organizations dedicated to improving the lives of those with different abilities. She makes her home in the welcoming community of Fenton Michigan, and is the mother of two sets of twin girls.

Char Combs selected for Legacy Society Honors by the Brain Injury Community

Honors Scheduled for November 20, 2021

Char Combs has been selected as the upcoming recipient of the Community Service and Leadership Award and will be formally inducted into the Brain Injury Association of Michigan’s (BIAMI) Legacy Society.  Legacy Society members are recognized for their dedication, leadership, and personal commitment to enhancing the quality of life for persons with brain injury and their families.  Char has over 26 years of experience working with the brain injury community as an Occupational Therapist and as a leader in providing community-based rehabilitation programs for individuals with traumatic brain injury. The BIAMI’s annual Tribute Legacy Dinner will be presented on Saturday, November 20, 2021.
